Oppure Oil's prices are so much lower than other oil companies! People often ask me “How can Oppure Oil sell oil much closer to cost than other oil companies and earn a profit?” The following ten items answers this question: 

  1. Lowest Fixed Costs: We focus on operating at the lowest fixed cost possible. You won’t see shiny, top-of-the-line oil trucks or the nicest office space in the best part of town. These items would obviously increase our costs!
     
  2. Debt-Free Operation: Most households in America make sacrifices involving purchases. Oppure’s mission statement reminds us that we operate debt free. If we can’t pay for it with cash, we don’t buy it. We have no debt such as, mortgage and credit card payments. These expenses increase the cost of doing business.
     
  3. Delivery Made Simple: At Oppure Oil we keep our cost down because we just deliver oil. The more services offered, the higher the cost. More services mean more employees, space, supplies, technology, equipment, etc. Oppure Oil is different! We offer home and business heating oil delivery at a reduced cost to you.   4. Minimum Delivery: Oppure Oil's minimum delivery is 125 gallons. It would cost us more to delivery only 50 gallons, thereby increasing your cost. 
     
  5. No Hassle Payment: Even if your name is Tom Brady, you still have to use your credit card. Even number 12 has the same guidelines as you. After nearly 20 years in the business and having survived the biggest recession since the Great Depression, we have felt the pain of unpaid receivables. 
     
  6. One Price Discount Company: The price is the price. We are labeled by full service companies as a “discount company” and they are right! All our customers get the same low price. It's that simple.
     
  7. Years of Full-Service Experience:  Last Spring I decided to build a patio using brick pavers. My lack of experience caused me to waste time and money trying to make it come out right. When I finally finished this project, I told my wife, “If I could just start over, it would come out so much better.” Heating oil has been my career since 1995. When we receive your order through our website, the entire process is fully automated. This helps us minimize our staffing needs and the savings are passed on to you.
          
  9. Plan Your Delivery: Same day delivery costs money, lots of it!  Oppure Oil automatically routes trucks to drive the least number of miles, while maximizing the number of deliveries. The more we drive, the more it costs you. Planning your delivery helps us save time and money that, again, is passed on to you. If we take a driver off the route to handle a same day delivery or hire an additional driver to do last minute same day deliveries, it forces us to increase our costs, which is contrary to our Mission Statement. We will make every effort to get heating oil to you within two business day. All you have to do is plan your delivery.
     
  10. Heating Oil is Heating Oil:  Some oil companies try to justify their prices by promoting their product. For the most part, heating oil is all the same. After refining, heating oil travels to a distribution terminal. We all fill up at the same place with the same oil. Like all purchases, you compare “apples to apples." Heating oil is heating oil.
